70% Loan and Member Service Relations and Performance
Loan and Deposit Product Production
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Perform lending and member service functions for STCU and Shared Branch members accurately, timely, and in alignment with job standards and procedures. This includes consumer loan and deposit products and other services. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Analyze credit reports. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Input complete and well documented loan applications. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Seek out opportunities to assist members with bringing loans over to STCU.

Compliance, Security and Disaster Recovery
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Maintain knowledge in and adhere to compliance standards for the branch. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Adhere to security procedures and fraud controls to protect members, staff, and assets. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Recommend changes to the disaster recovery plan for the branch.
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Adhere to policies, procedures and established processes for the branch. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Recommend policy / procedural changes and process improvements to assist in the achievement of the strategic goals of the organization.
Projects and Consulting
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Participate and/or consult on branch or organizational projects that contribute to the evolvement of STCU's culture and strategic vision and/or achievement of goals. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Contribute as an effective project team member and complete all tasks and assignments in a timely manner.
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Perform additional duties as required by the Branch Manager, Assistant Branch Manager or other designee for efficient operation of the branch and/or credit union. This includes the possibility of being assigned temporarily to other locations.

Loan and Member Service Representative Standards:
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Demonstrated proficiency in job accountabilities. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Adhere to fee reversal guidelines ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Adhere to wire procedures ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Adhere to check acceptance limits ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Meet monthly conversation goals for the branch ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Meet monthly Payment Protection, GAP, and MRC goals for the branch
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ High school graduate or equivalent. Some college preferred. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ At least two years experience in a financial institution working as a Teller, new accounts representative or loan officer. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Notary License strongly preferred. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the terms of the SAFE Act of 2008 is required. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Previous experience in keyboarding/PC and 10-key calculator. Windows XP experience with basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel strongly preferred. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Available to work flexible hours and overtime as needed. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Meets physical requirements of the job:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
